During Education Week St. Anthony hosted a math open house. Parents were invited to a short presentation in the library where they were engaged in some interactive games and strategies. St. Anthony celebrated the Feast of St. Anthony on Thursday, June 15th, an annual celebration. Pictured below is Mr. Lo Schiavo serving the communal soup that all students contributed to. Grade 4 and 5 students below are enjoying this special soup.
Congratulations to our First Communicants who received their First Communion in late April and early May.
St. Anthony intermediate students competed in the Gauss Math Competition on May 10th. Our students did extremely well. Congratulations to Agnes Kim who was awarded Gold Level of Distinction and Alex Zhou who achieved the Silver Level of Distinction. This is quite an achievement for our students!
Junior Chefs were out in fine form for the competition at St. Anthony Annual Family Dance. Students were asked to bring in a Canada themed dessert which represents Canada through the ingredients, lifestyle, or decoration. Congratulations to Noa and Daphne in Grade 2 and Austin in kindergarten who went on to represent St. Anthony at the Junior Olympic Qualifier. They have been invited to Novi, Michigan for this event.
